Dear Friends of Coble,

What a week we have had.  God has blessed Coble in many ways.  We have 21 new students and the students and parents have expressed their happiness in being here.  The attitude of the students has been really high as demonstrated by the enthusiastic student led song services in our joint worships complete with guitars, drums and the words of the songs put up on the big screen.

We have a new student Chai Malin, from the community that is sponsored by the conference office.  The parents have promised to attend the Calhoun SDA Church each Sabbath in exchange for the price of tuition.  Mrs. Hamilton, her teacher, says she has a good attitude and is a positive influence on the other students.  Her mother told me that she feels this is the best school she has ever attended.  This is evangelism at its best!  Please, join us in prayer over this precious family.

The FCC license committee members from the Calhoun SDA Church and the school met to discuss the distribution of funds for the new cafeteria for Coble.  There was a unified spirit and the committee recommended to the full Coble board that up to $200,000 to complete the building project.  Steve Fehlenberg agreed to chair the committee for the next year.

Jennifer Hufstedler is doing a great job managing the after care program.  We only have about five students in the program at this time, but we realize it will take time to build up the attendance.  The insurance inspector checked out our facility and gave us a good rating.

The Georgia Special Needs Program has begun at Coble.  We have only one student at this time.  The state representative told me that she thought it was wise to start small and grow into the program.  We have teamed up with a special needs company out of Dalton, Georgia, DP inc., that has helping in the instruction of our student.

We are excited about our Coble Partners in Prayer Program.  Each student will have a GCA student and a Calhoun SDA Church member teamed up with them in prayer.  The Coble students will pray for their partners daily and in turn the partners will pray for them.  At least once each quarter they will contact each other.  Prayer changed things!

Keep us in your prayers,

Coble
