As principal of Coble it is my job to make sure that everyone is safe. The staff and I have worship every morning and invite God's spirit into our school so that we can minister to the needs of each student. the students receive a friendly greeting from me each morning as they leave their car and enter the school. they receive a second greeting from their teacher when they enter the classroom. My motto is that God's friends show kindness to others.

Learning is emotional. This means students must connect with the teacher and subject matter in order for learning to place. Teachers and student develop strong bonds of friendship and respect while working together on their lessons. A good sense of humor is invaluable to help the students and teachers happily complete the learning process.

Here at Coble there is a non bullying policy. The students, parents, and teachers all sign an agreement stating bullying of any kind will not be tolerated. Those students that may make a mistake and are aggressive must change their behavior. Almost all problems can be resolve through dialog and prayer.

I have taught and/or been principal of elementary schools for over thirty years. I love teaching! The "a-ha moment" when a child "gets it" never grows old. I have a wife and two sons and a daughter-in-law. I enjoy reading, jogging and prison ministries. One of my favorite things to do is to share the love of Jesus with others.
